Job summary

Stride, Inc. is seeking a remote CTE Teacher to deliver online coursework for Alabama students through Stride K12’s learning management system.

You will provide instruction, support, and guidance, monitoring progress and working closely with students and learning coaches to reach established goals. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree and an active state teaching license, with experience in online learning platforms and the ability to maintain a professional home office.

Qualifications

• Ability to clear background check.
• Experience with online/virtual learning platforms.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences for students.
• Personalize learning for all students.
• Maintain grade book and monitor student progress.
• Prepare students for high-stakes standardized tests.
• Communicate regularly with families/learning coaches and respond in a timely manner.
• Travel ~20% for face-to-face professional development and testing as required by the school.
