Job summary

OpenTrain AI, Inc. seeks a remote contractor to design self-contained, evaluative tasks for AI agents in computational life sciences. You will craft data, datasets, and step-by-step workflows, establishing objective ground truths and reproducible solutions that can be graded automatically.

The role focuses on creating multi-step workflows, validating results, and iterating based on reviewer feedback. This contract runs five weeks with a minimum of 20 hours per week and overlaps Pacific Standard

Qualifications

• Advanced research experience and strong scientific programming ability, especially in Python.
• Ph.D., postdoctoral training, or equivalent research experience in the life sciences.

Responsibilities

• Design multi-step scientific workflows across life sciences disciplines.
• Create datasets, files, instructions, constraints and deliverables for each task.
• Develop automated or semi-automated grading criteria that run in a sandbox.
• Validate scientific and computational results and respond to reviewer feedback.
