Job summary

Qualifications

• Virtual touch-up and painting potential.
• Strong experience with Maya and Nuke.
• Proficient in After Effects and Photoshop.
• Solid matte/cryptomatte and finishing layer knowledge.
• Ability to paint independently with lighting/rendering tools.
• B.A. or B.S. in Animation or related field desired.
• Experience with Houdini and FX is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Digital touch‑up, sweetening, and paint to finish composites as final frames.
• Attend dailies, opinions, and sequence launches as needed.
• Attend Director assessment meetings as needed.
• Execute the Director’s imaginative ideas and share creative solutions with the group.
• Develop strategies to create Layer/matte structures using appropriate compositing software and documentation.
