Job summary

ViClarity is seeking a full-time Compliance Specialist to support credit union adherence to applicable laws and regulations across US time zones. This remote role welcomes candidates based in California, Nevada, or Utah.

You will respond to inquiries via ViClarity's compliance hotline, keep confidential records, and stay current on federal and state banking laws and internal controls. The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of compliance experience in a credit union or financial institution,

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of compliance experience within a credit union or financial institution.
• Experience with compliance hotlines or similar reporting mechanisms preferred.
• Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements - expertise with NCUA regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and investigate inquiries received through ViClarity's compliance hotline, ensuring timely and thorough resolution.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of inquiries.
• Remain up to date on relevant Federal banking laws, regulations, credit union internal controls, and industry best practices.
• Remain up to date on State specific banking laws, including but not limited to California, Utah, Nevada, Iowa, Ohio, and Massachusetts.
• Assist in the promotion of the compliance hotline and encourage use by credit union League members.
