Job summary

Affirme is seeking a Compliance Lead within its Legal, Compliance, and Public Affairs team to help administer the Compliance Testing Program. The role involves reviews to ensure regulatory adherence, collaboration with Legal, Operations, Product, and Engineering, and proactive remediation of identified issues.

The position reports to the Senior Compliance Manager and requires independent, cross-functional work in a fast-paced environment with a remote-friendly setup.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional work experience in Compliance Testing or Audit.
• Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends.
• Experience in completing end-to-end compliance testing activities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing compliance testing and reporting on adherence to program and regulations.
• Collaborate with multiple departments to complete reviews.
• Identify improvements to current processes and strengthen internal controls.
• Coordinate the compliance risk assessment and control inventory.
