Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CCO, CRCM) are advantageous.
• Minimum 5 years in a compliance role within Banking & Finance.
• Deep knowledge of South African financial regulations and compliance frameworks.
• Experience developing and implementing compliance programs, policies, and procedures.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, interpret, and implement changes in financial regulations.
• Develop, update, and enforce compliance policies and procedures.
• Conduct compliance audits and risk assessments; identify non-compliance risks.
• Investigate breaches, document findings, and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide training and guidance on regulatory requirements to staff.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and external auditors as required.
• Maintain records of compliance activities and training.
• Advise management on compliance strategies and regulatory impacts.
• Develop and implement AML and KYC programs.
