Job summary

Kin is expanding its Compliance Reporting & Data function and seeks a data-driven analyst to build regulatory reporting support as we scale across states. You will partner with Compliance, Finance, Product, and Data Engineering to ensure accurate, complete, and defensible reporting for regulators, auditors, and leadership.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in data analysis, compliance reporting, or statutory reporting
• Proficiency in SQL and data validation
• Experience translating regulatory requirements into data definitions
• Strong documentation and data quality discipline

Responsibilities

• Translate regulatory and financial reporting requirements into report logic and data definitions
• Develop and maintain regulatory reports for state filings, audits, and exams
• Validate data used in compliance submissions and document results
• Own reporting readiness for new products and state launches
• Investigate data discrepancies and drive remediation with Data Eng, Finance, and Product
• Write and execute validation tests for data pipelines and reporting outputs
• Build automated reporting processes, data-quality checks, and alerts
• Document report logic, data definitions, controls, and validation procedures to stay audit-ready
• Produce and reconcile data feeds for month-end close and resolve variances
• Research data and prepare supporting documentation for regulators and internal stakeholders
