Job summary

Centene Corp. is seeking a Compliance Auditor to participate in auditing, oversight, and monitoring of Centene, its brokers, distributors, subsidiaries, and third parties to ensure regulatory compliance and integrity.

The role involves preparing formal written reports, collaborating to resolve issues, driving corrective action plans, educating brokers on program requirements, and supporting governance across government-sponsored health care programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare, audit, business, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of related experience if no degree.
• CHC - Certified Healthcare Compliance preferred
• CIA - Certified Internal Auditor preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare formal written reports on audit, oversight and monitoring activity findings and recommendations.
• Collaborate to direct compliance issues to appropriate channels for research and resolution.
• Review and evaluate the status and effectiveness of corrective action plans and track issues through remediation and closure.
• Communicate the importance of the Compliance Program and promote awareness of government-sponsored health care program requirements.
• Support development and maintenance of monitoring and auditing tools to evaluate compliance across internal, broker, and third-party functions.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Audit, Business, or related field or equivalent experience

High School/GED with 5+ years related experience
