Job summary

General Motors is seeking a Compensation Operations Specialist to support Workday and related HR systems. You will enter, validate, and maintain compensation data, generate reports, and assist with testing and documentation for system changes.

You will also contribute to data quality reviews, support annual and off-cycle cycles, and provide administrative support to the team, including coordinating meetings and maintaining SOPs and SharePoint repositories.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years experience working in compensation planning.
• Strong systems knowledge; Workday knowledge preferred.
• Comprehensive MS Office knowledge including Excel/PowerPoint.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Experience with data accuracy and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Enter, update, and maintain employee and compensation data in Workday.
• Generate standard and ad hoc reports to support planning and analysis.
• Assist with testing, validation, and documentation for config changes.
• Perform routine data quality reviews and audits for Executive Compensation.
• Provide administrative and operational support to the team.
• Organize team documentation and SharePoint sites.
• Support compensation cycles and related projects.
