Job summary

Giga Energy is seeking a Communications Manager to own community messaging across our nationwide data-center rollout. You will maintain a single truth document, translate leadership decisions into internal messaging, and build landing pages and calendars for each site.

You will lead local media relations, prepare town-hall materials, and coordinate with a PR agency to keep messaging consistent across all sites.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in communications, public affairs, corporate communications, or content marketing.
• Exceptional writing skills, with ability to simplify technical or regulatory material for residents.
• Experience creating messaging documents, FAQs, and Q&A used by others.
• Experience producing presentation and print materials on deadlines.
• Experience working with reporters and coordinating executive comment.
• Ability to run a content calendar and commitments tracker across projects.
• Sound judgment on sensitive community, legal, and reputational matters.
• Comfort working with technical, legal, construction, and executive teams.
• Willingness to travel to project communities roughly 10–20% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Own the single source of truth for community messaging and Q&A.
• Translate leadership decisions into internal messaging for consistency.
• Build, launch, and maintain community landing pages for each site.
• Manage the community communications calendar across sites.
• Manage the community goodwill calendar and tracker.
• Produce town hall and community materials (slides, handouts, posters, FAQs).
• Develop local media relationships and coordinate with PR agency; line up founder comments when needed.
• Source and execute local goodwill and sponsorship opportunities.
• Support community benefit agreements and town hall materials.
• Support public meetings with materials and messaging.
• Route escalated reporter inquiries to the Director of Content & Communications.
