Job summary

Nova Institute for Health is seeking a Community Engagement and Events Coordinator to support virtual programming, audience development, and outreach initiatives.

The role is part-time (approximately 10–15 hours per week), primarily remote, with on-site events in the Greater Baltimore or Greater Washington DC area as required. Compensation ranges from $35 to $40 per hour, contract-based 1099 arrangement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3–5 years of work experience in communications, marketing, hospitality, or related field.
• Must reside in Greater Baltimore or Greater Washington DC area for on-site support.

Responsibilities

• Develop, schedule, attend, and facilitate public-facing virtual programming.
• Promote virtual events through email, website, social media, and newsletters.
• Provide support for event moderators and attendees, including scheduling and follow-up.
• Maintain shared calendar of upcoming events and activities.
