Job summary

Healio is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Community Manager to own the day-to-day health, engagement and member experience of the brand’s healthcare provider community.

This role will cultivate an active and valuable professional community by developing engagement initiatives and programming, building relationships with members and ensuring the community reflects their interests, needs and professional priorities.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in community management, audience engagement, digital content, communications or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, English, Communications or related field.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships and engage professional audiences.
• Strong organizational and project-management skills with ability to manage multiple initiatives.
• Experience developing programming, events, content or engagement campaigns.
• Comfort using analytics and qualitative feedback to evaluate performance.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day community experience, fostering meaningful conversation and participation.
• Develop and execute initiatives that increase activation, engagement and retention.
• Build relationships with members, subject-matter experts and advocates to inform direction.
• Develop and manage a calendar of community programming including discussions and virtual events.
• Create community-first content based on member interests and trends.
• Track performance and use data and feedback to identify improvements.
• Share insights about member needs to inform strategy and organizational initiatives.
• Test and refine engagement approaches based on performance and response.
• Partner with editorial, product and marketing teams to support growth and experience.
