Job summary

Jacobs seeks a Communications Systems Designer to contribute to a range of building projects, including telecom, security, audio-visual, and related systems. You will create drawings and specifications, review technical documents, and coordinate with project teams in a hybrid remote/office setup.

The role requires an active BICSI RCDD credential, 5+ years of relevant experience, and strong communication and time-management skills. Texas-based work with nationwide collaboration is expected.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship is required.
• BICSI RCDD is required.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience of active communications systems for buildings is required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook) is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical design of systems for building projects including telecommunications, electronic security, audio-visual systems, and related technologies.
• Preparation of engineering drawings, specifications, reports, and review of technical documents.
• Will be responsible for completing project assignments with minimal supervision and directing support staff.
