Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Communications, Policy and Data Analyst to support the DHS ICE mission with program management, policy review and metrics reporting. This fully remote role is available to candidates within the Continental United States.

You will draft congressional responses, build relationships with federal managers, translate complex policies into clear actionable outputs, track task progress, and assist with fast-moving special projects while maintaining DHS clearance requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of work experience.
• Experience in a dynamic, quick-turn US government environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide communications support, including drafting responses to congressional correspondence and information requests.
• Build and maintain relationships with federal law enforcement managers and subject matter experts.
• Analyze, interpret, and convey complex mission-related policies and programs clearly.
• Track progress of high-profile tasks and reports, and support ad hoc requests as needed.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather information for timely responses and assignments.
• Facilitate needs and challenges, perform gap analysis, and propose solutions.
• Support cross-discipline teams to ensure project requirements, deadlines and schedules are met.
• Develop and disseminate information among customers and external stakeholders.
