Job summary

First American is seeking a Commercial Title Officer to join our Energy group. You will perform or review title searches for commercial transactions ranging from single-site to multi-site across locations, analyze records, and prepare write-ups for commitments and policies in coordination with attorneys where needed.

You should have 3–5 years of commercial title experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of commercial title related experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform or review complete title searches for commercial transactions per locality and standards.
• Analyze records (liens, judgments, easements, etc.) to verify ownership and legal descriptions.
• Price commitments, endorsements, policies, and guarantees with appropriate fees.
• Review deeds, operating agreements, and corporate resolutions.
• Coordinate with attorneys on matters requiring escalation.
