Job summary

The Huntington National Bank is seeking a Commercial Relationship Service Specialist II to serve as the primary contact for assigned Commercial customers and Relationship Managers. The role works independently and with the Deal Team to enhance onboarding, retention, and sales across a diverse portfolio.

Qualifications

• High school, GED, or equivalent required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 3+ years in commercial banking with a focus in deposits, loans, treasury management, customer service, banking operations

Responsibilities

• First-line decision maker who will mitigate issues/questions being elevated to management and/or resulting in customer impact; keeps Deal Team abreast of material changes and risk.
• Identify, research, analyze, and resolve complex problems to ensure adherence to bank policies and retain relationships.
• Manage complex, highly visible, large, and/or sensitive customers and services.
• Offer products to grow relationships such as Escrow Services, Credit Sweeps; understand large private and public companies and specialized verticals.
• Provide oversight of onboarding, commercial deposit and loan accounts, and manage multi-stage transactions and unique requirements.
• Represent Huntington's Commercial brand with professional, discreet communications and forward-thinking solutions.
• Attend customer meetings independently or with Deal Team; stay informed of customer strategies and priorities.
