Job summary

Mobilitas is hiring a Commercial Pricing Actuary (Mobility) for a remote role across the United States. You will prepare and coordinate analyses for insurance rating, support individual account pricing and lead moderate-complexity projects.

The role may be at level IV-V with opportunities for growth and mentorship within a remote-first culture. You will collaborate with product management, finance, and claims while staying current with industry developments and pricing methodologies.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in statistics, mathematics, actuarial science or related area with 5+ years of post-bachelor experience
• Graduate degree in statistics, mathematics, actuarial science or related area with 3 years of experience
• Strong analytical and communication skills for client-facing roles
• Proficiency in statistical analysis and programming languages such as SQL, R, Python, Radar

Responsibilities

• Support commercial auto pricing including individual account pricing and portfolio-level analyses
• Conduct actuarially sound statistical analyses by selecting data sources and making assumptions for pricing
• Document assumptions, methods and sources; prepare findings for technical and non-technical audiences
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide actuarial support and mentor junior colleagues
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging actuarial methods
