Job summary

Rogue Credit Union seeks a Commercial Portfolio Manager to oversee a diverse lending portfolio, assessing borrower performance, risk, and collateral while ensuring compliance with policy and regulatory standards.

You will collaborate with Relationship Managers, Credit Administration, and leadership to optimize portfolio health and expand member relations through targeted service opportunities.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of commercial lending, portfolio management, or related financial institutional experience.
• Two-year degree or equivalent certification/training as listed in the role expectations.
• Solid understanding of credit risk, regulatory requirements, and loan monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned portfolio of commercial lending relationships with focus on credit quality and risk ratings.
• Identify emerging credit risks and implement mitigation strategies in collaboration with teammates.
• Monitor maturities and renewals; coordinate extensions, modifications, and refinancings.
• Track covenant compliance and loan conditions; ensure timely information and documentation.
• Evaluate collateral performance; review appraisals and insurance; support collateral actions.
• Partner with Relationship Manager to deepen member relationships and identify cross-sell opportunities.
• Stay current on regulations, policies, and internal controls; support audits and exams.
• Provide excellent member service and timely issue resolution for loan documentation and servicing.
• Proactively participate in special projects and ad-hoc initiatives as needed.
