King's Insurance Staffing is seeking a Commercial Middle Market Underwriter for a leading Commercial Insurance Carrier in the United States. The role emphasizes identifying and developing Commercial Lines opportunities, risk selection, and premium determination, with fully remote work possible.

The position requires 3–5+ years of Commercial Lines Underwriting experience across GL, Auto, Workers’ Compensation, Property, and Umbrella, plus strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Commercial Lines Underwriting experience.
• Experience in General Liability, Auto, Workers’ Compensation, Property and Umbrella.
• Bachelor's Degree is strongly desired but not required.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and develop Commercial Lines business opportunities.
• Assess risk based on exposure and rating guidelines.
• Determine premiums and coverages for commercial packages and umbrellas.
• Maintain file documentation and adhere to authority levels.
• Build relationships with agents and producers within the region.
• Pursue renewal and new account opportunities.
