Distinct Recruitment, Florida practice, is hiring a commercial litigation attorney. The role is fully remote from anywhere in Florida and focuses on business litigation for companies and their owners, not insurance defense.

You’ll work on breach of contract, business torts, shareholder disputes, restrictive covenants, and related pleadings and discovery. There will be direct client contact, responsibility for strategy, and no commute.

Qualifications

• Solid commercial or complex civil litigation experience
• Clear, persuasive writing; much of commercial litigation is decided on the briefs
• Self managed and organized, as you'd be working remotely

Responsibilities

• Breach of contract, business torts and commercial fraud claims
• Shareholder, partnership and LLC member disputes
• Restrictive covenant, trade secret and unfair competition matters
• Pleadings, discovery strategy and dispositive motions you draft and argue
• Depositions of corporate representatives, fact witnesses and damages experts
• Mediation, arbitration and trial on the matters that don't resolve
