Burr & Forman seeks a Commercial Lending Associate with a JD and active bar license to join our team. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of commercial real estate lending experience and a proven ability to represent lenders in secured transactions, within a collaborative, client-focused environment.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree and bar admission in any state where Burr & Forman maintains an office.
• 3+ years of commercial lending experience (real estate).
• Experience representing regional and national lenders in secured transactions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in handling commercial real estate lending engagements with lenders.
• Draft and negotiate loan agreements, security documents, and related instruments.
• Collaborate in a team environment to manage complex engagements and provide client service.
