Job summary

Specialty Insurance, a leading provider of niche sports coverage, seeks a Commercial Insurance Account Manager to service an assigned portfolio of commercial accounts. This remote, full-time role collaborates with producers, carriers, and internal teams to manage renewals, policy changes, and client service.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in commercial insurance account management, an active Property & Casualty license, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial insurance account management or a similar role.
• Active Property & Casualty insurance license.
• Working knowledge of commercial lines insurance, including policy servicing, renewals, and coverage changes.
• Experience with Applied Epic or a similar agency management system preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
• Experience with real estate, manufacturing, automotive services, healthcare, or technology accounts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day servicing of an assigned portfolio of commercial insurance accounts.
• Respond to client inquiries and assist with policy questions, coverage requests, and changes.
• Coordinate renewal marketing, obtain quotes, and assist with securing appropriate coverage.
• Process applications, binders, policies, endorsements, certificates of insurance, and cancellations.
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation in Applied Epic.
• Communicate with carriers and underwriters regarding submissions, renewals, and policy matters.
• Follow up on outstanding requests, renewals, and policy transactions to ensure timely completion.
• Assist with premium collection, billing, and invoice processing as needed.
• Maintain working knowledge of commercial insurance coverages and carrier requirements.
