Insurance Office of America is seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance Account Manager in California to join our Account Management team. The role features multiple levels: Account Manager, Senior Account Manager and Senior Account Executive, with a focus on client service, renewal management, and risk coverage expertise.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of account management experience or 5+ years of insurance industry experience.
• Active insurance license.
• Strong knowledge of insurance products and brokerage operations.
• Excellent customer service, communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• CIC or equivalent designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Client Service & Account Administration: respond to client service requests, process policy changes, endorsements, billing requests, and claims support.
• Renewal & Retention Management: manage expirations and renewal timelines, gather underwriting information, prepare renewal submissions, support proposals and retention initiatives.
• Operational Excellence: maintain agency systems, ensure documentation accuracy, monitor activity and deadlines, follow policies and compliance.
• Financial Management: assist with accounts receivable monitoring and collection efforts, resolve billing issues.
• Professional Development: maintain technical knowledge, participate in improvement initiatives, uphold client-service excellence.
