Job summary

Viant Medical is seeking a Commercial Development Manager to lead quoting for plastic parts and assemblies. You will apply engineering knowledge of molding processes to develop accurate, timely cost estimates and provide optimized solutions for customers.

This role requires coordinating with business unit leadership and site teams to gather requirements and drive winning proposals. This is a remote position with 15–25% travel across Viant facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years injection molding experience in healthcare/medical devices.
• Experience quoting plastic components in IQMS preferred.
• Experience managing BOMs in IQMS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate cost estimates for injection molding and assemblies using Viant tools.
• Analyze prints and specs to select cost-efficient manufacturing processes.
• Improve quoting process to increase win rate and efficiency.
• Identify and coordinate with Viant sites for lead times and costs.
• Determine capital investment and ROI; support proposal development.
• Lead quotes approvals up to executive levels.
• Represent Viant in customer meetings as technical lead.
• Collaborate with SMEs to develop winning solutions.
• Train sales team on quoting processes and forms.
