Qualifications

• JD required with strong academic credentials.
• Active membership in at least one U.S. state bar.
• Experience drafting and negotiating sophisticated commercial and technology agreements.
• Excellent legal judgment and ability to assess business risks.
• Ability to quickly understand technical products and business models.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong curiosity and adaptability in legal operations.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, focusing on data licensing and technology agreements.
• Support commercial matters including vendor agreements, partnership agreements, and NDAs.
• Partner with internal teams to translate legal and contractual risk into business-oriented recommendations.
• Develop a deep understanding of the company’s products, business model, and data flows.
• Navigate novel legal questions with limited precedent, exercising strong judgment.
• Build and improve contract templates, negotiation playbooks, and self-service resources.
• Identify opportunities to streamline legal operations through AI-enabled contract review and automation.
