Job summary

College of DuPage is seeking adjunct faculty to teach College Skills in a multicultural and student-centered environment. Instructors plan and deliver courses in classroom, online, hybrid, or blended formats, and assess student learning.

Candidates should hold a Master’s Degree in a COD content area (or a Master’s degree plus 18 graduate hours) and be able to teach face-to-face on campus; remote teaching experience is preferred. These positions are paid by stipends per course.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree in any College of DuPage content area, or a Master’s degree plus 18 semester hours of graduate level credit in any College of DuPage discipline of instruction.
• Specialized training or experience in career development is preferred.
• College-level teaching experience and proficiency in designing instruction to engage students is preferred.
• Must be able to teach face to face classes on our campus

Responsibilities

• Adjunct Faculty instructors at College of DuPage are responsible for course planning and instruction in classroom, lab, or clinical settings, courses may be conducted in various delivery modes, such as, face-to-face, on-line, hybrid and/or blended formats.
• In addition, adjunct faculty are responsible for student evaluation, and timely and accurate submission of required paperwork related to instruction.
• Ability to teach remotely with technology and experience in online or virtual teaching preferred.
• Access to personal technology, home computer with appropriate ability to teach online required.
