AIM Learning Center is seeking experienced college advisors to deliver tutoring, evaluation, and advising packages. Remote with in-person options in San Antonio and Austin. You will manage kickoff meetings, build school lists, coach essays, and guide families through applications and financial aid.

Preferred candidates have 2+ years of relevant advising experience, a bachelor's degree, and availability for after-school or evening sessions. Background checks are required.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years advising high school students on college admissions.
• Experience guiding students through full application cycles.
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.

Responsabilités

• Kick off with each family to set goals, timeline, and package scope.
• Build college lists based on academics, interests, budget, and fit.
• Provide essay coaching from brainstorm to final draft.
• Offer application strategy and review for Common App and school portals.
• Guide families through financial aid and scholarships process (FAFSA/CSS not required).
• Plan courses/activities for multi-year packages for younger students.
• Provide regular updates to parents and log session notes.
