Job summary

Legion Health is a remote, part-time contractor opportunity for psychiatrists to collaborate with PMHNPs via secure telehealth. You will provide clinical guidance, chart reviews, and independent prescribing decisions where allowed.

Legion handles PMHNP vetting, scheduling and billing while you maintain clinical autonomy within evidence-based protocols. The role emphasizes flexibility, malpractice coverage, and nationwide access to care.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted medical license in at least one US state.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic and medication-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to provide care remotely and use electronic health record systems.
• Commitment to patient-centered, compassionate, evidence-based care.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with PMHNPs treating patients using evidence-based approaches.
• Conduct chart reviews and provide timely guidance on diagnoses, treatment plans, and medications.
• Review and authorize prescriptions, including controlled substances where legally permitted.
• Be available during agreed working hours and respond to shifts as required by state rules.
• Mentor clinicians and reinforce Legion's clinical standards and responsible-prescribing protocols.
• Help Legion expand access to high-quality psychiatric care across the United States.
