Job summary

Legion Health is seeking psychiatrists to collaborate with and supervise PMHNPs through secure telehealth workflows. This nationwide, remote, part-time contractor opportunity combines flexible clinical responsibility with support from a modern clinical organization.

Legion handles PMHNP vetting, scheduling, insurance verification, billing, and credentialing, while you provide guidance, chart review, MTM, and independent prescribing where permitted.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and medication-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Comfort delivering care remotely and using electronic health records.
• Commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based care.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with PMHNPs to treat low- and medium-acuity patients using evidence-based approaches.
• Conduct chart reviews and provide timely guidance on diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Review and authorize prescriptions, including controlled substances where permitted.
• Be available during agreed hours and respond to PMHNP shifts per state rules.
• Mentor clinicians and reinforce Legion's standards and safe-prescribing protocols.
• Help Legion expand access to high-quality psychiatric care nationwide.
