Job summary

Curana Health seeks a licensed physician to serve as a Collaborating Physician for NPs and PAs. This role focuses on compliance, oversight, and collaboration with limited clinical duties. You’ll provide guidance, perform chart reviews, and support facilities in Tennessee state regulations.

The position offers flexible, remote work with in-person rounding once per month, and a competitive monthly stipend. Ideal for physicians seeking additional income with limited clinical duties.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted medical license (MD or DO).
• Minimum two years of clinical experience post-residency.
• Must meet the state Board of Medical Examiners’ supervision requirements for NPs/PAs.
• No current board disciplinary actions or sanctions.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Familiarity with state laws and regulations governing NP/PA collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide collaborative oversight to NPs/PAs as required by state regulations.
• Conduct periodic chart reviews to ensure compliance with state guidelines.
• Be available for consultation and clinical support as needed.
• Participate in quarterly or periodic meetings (virtual or in-person as required).
• Conduct in-person rounding at assigned facilities once per month to maintain clinical engagement and support provider collaboration.
• Assist with protocol development and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Sign off on required documentation and maintain compliance with regulatory bodies.
• Stay up to date on Tennessee medical board requirements for collaboration.
