Job summary

Curana Health seeks a licensed physician to serve as Collaborating Physician for NPs/PAs, focusing on compliance, oversight, and collaboration with minimal clinical duties. The role supports regulatory alignment and periodic facility rounding across TN facilities.

The physician will review charts, provide guidance, and participate in meetings to uphold high standards of care while enabling provider collaboration.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted MD or DO license.
• Minimum two years of clinical experience post-residency.
• Must meet supervision requirements for NPs/PAs in TN.
• No current board disciplinary actions or sanctions.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Familiarity with Tennessee state laws governing NP/PA collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide collaborative oversight to NPs/PAs as required by state regulations.
• Conduct periodic chart reviews to ensure compliance with state guidelines.
• Be available for consultation and clinical support as needed.
• Participate in quarterly or periodic meetings (virtual or in-person).
• Conduct in-person rounding at assigned facilities once per month to support provider collaboration.
• Assist with protocol development and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Sign off on required documentation and maintain regulatory compliance.
