Iowa Specialty Hospital is seeking a Coding Specialist to join our health system, emphasizing accuracy and compassionate care. The role involves coding for inpatient and outpatient hospital encounters as well as multispecialty clinics, with a strong focus on EPIC and 3M systems after training.

The position offers a full-time schedule Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:30pm with potential for remote daytime hours once training is completed, and flexibility with 4/10 shifts may be considered.

Qualifications

• AAPC or AHIMA coding credential or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of EPIC and 3M preferred.
• Experience coding for inpatient and outpatient hospital encounters.

Responsibilities

• Code inpatient and outpatient hospital encounters and multispecialty clinics.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with coding guidelines.
