Novant Health is seeking a senior coding auditor to join the NHmg RCS Coding Department. The role focuses on auditing coding accuracy across ICD-9-CM/ICD-10-CM, CPT and HCPCS, with emphasis on compliant documentation and reporting findings.

The position requires strong communication and analytical skills, CPC/CCS/RHIT certification, and 5+ years of coding experience plus 2+ years of auditing. This is a remote opportunity serving NC residents, with a flexible schedule after training.

Qualifikationen

• Must hold CPC, CCS, or RHIT certification.
• Minimum 5+ years of professional coding experience across core areas.
• Minimum 2+ years auditing experience for coding compliance/accuracy.

Aufgaben

• Perform coding audit activities for the NHmg RCS Coding Department.
• Audit use of ICD-9-CM, ICD-10-CM, CPT and HCPCS codes, modifiers, NCCI and related guidelines.
• Support the coding department by auditing and reporting audit findings per policy.
