Job summary

Bavarian Nordic is seeking a CMO Manager, ExM for a 12-month temporary contract. The role is remote with East Coast preference in the United States, reporting to the CMO Director, US.

The role focuses on end-to-end management of CMO activities, ensuring compliant, timely deliveries in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners. Key responsibilities include CMO performance oversight, governance, quality management, and coordinating KPIs and finances.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing, including CMO oversight.
• Strong expertise in deviation management, change control, and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Solid understanding of regulatory requirements for drug substance and/or drug product manufacturing.
• Broad cross-functional knowledge across QA, QC, Supply Chain, MSAT, and Regulatory Affairs.
• Proven stakeholder management skills with the ability to operate effectively in a global, cross-functional environment.
