Job summary

Bavarian Nordic is seeking a CMO Manager, ExM for a 12-month temporary contract. The role centers on end-to-end management of contract manufacturing organizations, ensuring compliant, timely delivery and strong interface with internal teams and CMOs.

You will drive governance, performance metrics, and change controls, coordinating budget, timelines and quality oversight to support global vaccine manufacturing programs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of pharma/biotech manufacturing with CMO oversight.
• Strong expertise in deviation management, change control, and QMS.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements for drug substance and/or drug product manufacturing.
• Cross-functional experience across QA, QC, Supply Chain, MSAT, and Regulatory Affairs.
• Proven stakeholder management in a global, cross-functional environment.

Position Overview

In this role, you will take ownership of the end-to-end management of CMO activities, ensuring reliable, compliant, and timely delivery in close collaboration with both internal stakeholders and external partners. Acting as the key interface between Bavarian Nordic and its CMOs, you will drive alignment, transparency, and performance across all manufacturing operations.
