Job summary

Bavarian Nordic is seeking a CMO Manager for ExM on a 12-month temp contract. This remote role (East Coast preferred) reports to the CMO Director, US and coordinates with External Manufacturing and Commercial Operations.

You will ensure compliant, timely manufacturing delivery and align BN with CMOs globally. Candidates should have 5+ years in pharma/biotech manufacturing, strong experience with deviations, change control, and QMS, and proven stakeholder management across QA, QC, Supply Chain,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing experience with CMO oversight.
• Experience with deviation management and change control processes.
• Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and regulatory requirements.
• Cross-functional collaboration across QA, QC, Supply Chain, MSAT, and Regulatory Affairs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee CMO performance and delivery.
• Manage stakeholder interfaces with CMOs and internal teams.
• Governance, communication, and adherence to BN ways of working.
• Quality oversight, documentation, and compliance (QMS).
• Coordinate operations, KPIs, and financial aspects related to CMOs.
