Sentara Medical Group—Sentara Park is seeking a full-time remote Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our Telehealth Services team. You will support virtual patient care and collaborate with a dedicated healthcare team to improve patient outcomes across communities served.

The role offers a sign-on bonus up to $5,000 for qualified candidates and standard full-time hours from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with one weekend and one closing shift per month.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Current CMA or equivalent certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA, NCMA, NRCMA, CMAC) or EMT-Basic accepted.
• Experience with telehealth platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient care and administrative tasks under supervision of physicians, NPs or PAs.
• Supports virtual visit workflows and documentation for Telehealth services.
• Maintains patient safety and privacy during remote encounters.
