Actalent is seeking a certified Medical Assistant to join a 100% remote telehealth team operating on Eastern Time. You will guide patients in telehealth kit use, collect vitals, and provide empathetic, HIPAA-compliant support via phone.

The role requires CMA certification, 3+ years of CMA experience, and proficiency with Athena or similar EHR systems. Training occurs during EST daytime hours.

Qualifications

• Active CMA certification from AAMA/AMT/NHA/NCCT.
• Minimum 3 years of recent CMA experience.
• Strong clinical ability to recognize and respond to vital signs.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients remotely with telehealth kits and guidance for accurate use.
• Handle high volume inbound calls with professional, empathetic service.
• Document vital signs in EHR systems accurately.
