Job summary

Sentara Medical Group – Telehealth Services seeks a Full-Time Remote Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support virtual patient care and collaborate with a dedicated healthcare team. The role requires high school graduation, BLS within 90 days, and current CMA or EMT-Basic certification.

In this remote position, you will perform patient care and administrative tasks under supervision, with a daytime schedule and one weekend/closing shift per month.

Qualifications

• Must hold current CMA certification or EMT-Basic certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA, NCMA, NRCMA, CMAC, or equivalent).
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• High school graduate or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care and administrative/clerical tasks under physician/NP/PA, RN or LPN supervision.
• Support Telehealth/virtual patient care with a focus on quality outcomes.
• Adhere to safety, privacy and clinical standards in all interactions.
