Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking a Full-Time Remote Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our Telehealth Services team. You will support delivery of high-quality virtual patient care and collaborate with physicians, NPs, PAs, RNs, and staff across communities we serve.

The role requires BLS within 90 days, CMA or EMT-Basic certification, and a high school diploma. It offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates and a schedule of Monday–Friday with occasional weekend/closing shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Current CMA/RA/CCMA/NCMA/NRCMA/CMAC or EMT-Basic certification from an accredited organization.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of high-quality virtual patient care.
• Perform patient care and administrative/clerical tasks under supervision of clinician.
• Collaborate with physicians, NP/PA, RN, and other team members to coordinate care.
