Job summary

Columbus Regional Healthcare System seeks a Medical Assistant to support Employee Health and Infection Control departments remotely. You will perform secretarial, clerical, and administrative tasks while assisting with clinical duties as they relate to the office.

EMR experience is required, and you must be certified or eligible for CMA/RMA/CCMA or equivalent credentials. The role requires a minimum of one year in a physician office setting, BLS certification, and competence across all patient

Qualifications

• One year of experience as a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant, preferably in a physician office setting.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) is required.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide secretarial, clerical, receptionist and administrative support for Employee Health/Infection Control departments.
• Assist with routine medical procedures and tests as needed.
• Support the Employee Health/Infection Preventionist as necessary.
