Job summary

AgilityIO is seeking a Solutions Architect for a remote, Latin America-based role. You will define resilient architectures, mentor developers, and collaborate across sales and delivery to ensure scalable, cost-effective solutions. Expect hands-on contributions alongside strategic architectural oversight.

The role balances discovery, estimation, and cross-project guidance with client-facing activities, shaping the position as AgilityIO grows. Strong communication in English is essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development and architecture experience, including lead or client-facing work.
• Proven experience designing scalable systems on AWS or Azure (serverless, containers/Kubernetes, microservices).
• Strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript (Node.js) and modern front-end frameworks (React/Angular/Vue).
• Solid DevOps/IaC experience (Terraform, CDK, CloudFormation) and CI/CD basics.

Responsibilities

• Lead solution design and architecture for web, mobile, and cloud systems.
• Conduct technical discovery: interviews, requirements gathering, risk analysis, and effort estimation.
• Produce architecture artifacts (C4/UML, ADRs) and collaborate on SOWs, proposals, and roadmaps.
• Support the sales team on technical calls, RFPs, scoping, and demos.
• Mentor engineers through design/code reviews and architectural coaching.
• Contribute hands-on to projects when needed—code, debug, unblock teams.
• Define reference architectures, coding standards, and CI/CD/IaC patterns for reliability and cost optimization.
• Lead evaluations of new technologies and build PoCs to validate assumptions.
