CDM Smith is seeking a Lead Cloud Solutions Architect to serve as the senior client-facing technology leader for the Cloud Solutions team. You will partner with business stakeholders to understand objectives, identify opportunities, and craft measurable cloud solution strategies.

You will guide solution lifecycle from discovery through deployment, collaborate with the Cloud Center of Excellence, and drive successful, cost-effective outcomes for enterprise initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 8+ years related experience preferred.
• Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional technology initiatives.
• Experience translating business needs into practical cloud solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Azure services, cloud architecture, and security concepts.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior client-facing technology leader for the Cloud Solutions team.
• Lead solution discovery, requirements analysis, and implementation planning.
• Develop roadmaps and delivery plans for cloud and application initiatives.
• Guide engagements from concept through deployment and transition.
• Collaborate with vendors, delivery teams, and Cloud Center of Excellence (CCOE).
• Provide technical leadership to architects and delivery teams throughout lifecycle.
• Evaluate options and recommend cost-effective, scalable solutions.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies for programs.
• Drive adoption of architecture standards and best practices.
