Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Lead Cloud Solutions Architect to serve as the senior client-facing technology leader for the Cloud Solutions team. You will partner with business stakeholders to shape strategies, lead discovery, requirements analysis, and implementation planning for complex cloud initiatives.

This role requires guiding engagements from concept through deployment, working with the Cloud Center of Excellence and delivery teams to ensure solutions meet business needs, leverage platform

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; 8+ years of related experience preferred.
Experience leading cross-functional technology initiatives with measurable outcomes.
Strong understanding of Azure, AWS, networking, and security concepts.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management across multiple levels.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary technical advisor to business stakeholders and identify technology opportunities.
Lead client engagements, discovery, requirements gathering, and business case development.
Translate needs into practical, scalable technology solutions aligned with goals.
Guide solution lifecycle from concept through deployment and transition to operations.
Collaborate with vendors, delivery teams, and the Cloud Center of Excellence to ensure alignment.
