Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect to design and govern cloud‑native solutions across compute, networking, data, identity, and security on a major cloud platform.

The role partners with business stakeholders, security architects, and engineering teams to translate strategic objectives into pragmatic, scalable, and cost‑effective cloud architectures aligned with enterprise standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Eight or more years of experience in software engineering or solution architecture roles.
• Deep expertise designing cloud-native solutions on at least one major cloud platform.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, identity, and security primitives.
• Experience with cloud migration, modernization, and platform consolidation programs.
• Strong understanding of containerization, serverless, and managed data services.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience producing formal architecture artifacts and presenting them to senior leadership.
• Track record of leading architecture reviews and influencing engineering direction.
• Cloud architecture certification (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end cloud solutions across compute, networking, storage, identity, data, and observability.
• Lead solution architecture reviews and approval processes for major cloud initiatives.
• Define cloud landing zone, account structure, and tagging strategies for workloads.
• Establish reference architectures, blueprints, and reusable patterns across teams.
• Architect security, identity, and compliance controls into the cloud foundation.
• Design networking topologies including VPC/VNet, transit hubs, and hybrid connectivity.
• Lead cloud migration, modernization, and re-platforming initiatives across portfolios.
• Drive cost optimization and FinOps practices with finance and engineering teams.
• Produce architecture artifacts and decision records for governance.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship during solution delivery.
