Software International (SI) is seeking an Operations Security Specialist- Cloud Operations and Delivery to work with a major SAP-focused client. This remote contract role offers potential conversion to permanent and begins ASAP.

The role centers on securing cloud infrastructure, coordinating security across IT, DevOps, and development teams, and driving standards for data protection. You will implement security controls, monitor for threats, and support disaster recovery efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in cloud security or a related role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement cloud security policies, protocols, and procedures for cloud environments.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure and applications for security breaches and respond promptly to incidents.
• Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, legal requirements, and organizational policies (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
• Work with IT, DevOps, and Development teams to embed security in the SDLC.
