Job summary

PrizePicks is hiring a Senior Security Engineer to scale Cloud, Container, and Edge security programs. You will engineer guardrails, automate threat detection, and enforce gates in CI/CD, working with Engineering, Infrastructure, and Application Security teams.

You will own container image security, run vulnerability remediation, and drive security controls across IaC. Remote-friendly with national US coverage.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevSecOps or Security Engineering roles with end-to-end program ownership.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS).
• Proficiency with IaC tooling and integrating security scanners into pipelines.
• Strong design/architecture review experience and threat modeling guidance.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute a long-term roadmap for Cloud, Container, and Edge Protection.
• Manage edge and bot protection including WAF, CDN, and DDoS mitigation.
• Review security for new product releases and architectural changes.
• Integrate monitoring and alerting for cloud/container vulnerabilities.
• Own container image security and enforce patch compliance in production.
• Embed security into CI/CD pipelines without slowing delivery.
• Lead IaC security initiatives and automate security controls.
• Identify gaps across cloud, container, and network infra and drive fixes.
