Job summary

CyberSheath Services International LLC is a rapidly growing security and IT managed services provider focused on cybersecurity for the Defense Industrial Base. We are expanding our Security Operations team and seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to support implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of security infrastructure in a cloud/IT environment.

The role emphasizes knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure, on-prem policies, scripting, and automation to enhance security posture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience implementing security products and policies for enterprises.
• 3+ years in Security Administration, aligning security with IT/business objectives.
• Deep understanding of Office 365 / Azure AD security tooling and reporting.
• Networking experience (TCP/IP, Routing, VPN).
• U.S. Citizenship and residency in the United States or its territories.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills; able to work independently and remotely.

Responsibilities

• Architect, establish and maintain best practices for product/service implementations.
• Configure, implement, and support production security tools and technologies.
• Maintain comprehensive SOPs for security tooling deployment and troubleshooting.
• Troubleshoot security toolsets within client environments.
• Lead onboarding projects: portal config, agent deployment, audits.
• Collaborate with team on security events needing urgent response.
• Provide ongoing tool tuning recommendations and best practices.
• Discuss security posture with clients and propose improvements.
• Triage security tool-related support tickets and requests.
• Participate in daily shift changeover meetings at the start and end of shifts.
• Support cloud-based SIEM, EDR, and Anti-Spam/Phishing products.
• Assist with triage of alerts and vulnerabilities.
