Job summary

Chamberlain Group is seeking a Manager, Cloud Engineering to lead the myQ Cloud Engineering team in Oak Brook/Remote. Responsibilities include guiding cloud infrastructure, driving automation, and ensuring scalable, secure platforms across Azure, AWS, or GCP.

You will partner with security, product, and IT leadership while overseeing hiring and performance. The role requires 7+ years in infrastructure/cloud, 3+ years in people management, and strong IaC experience; travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

7+ years of progressive infrastructure, cloud, and operations experience in a technical role.
3+ years of direct people-management experience leading technical teams.
Experience with production cloud environments at scale (Azure/AWS/GCP) and managed/PaaS services.
Experience with IaC (Terraform, ARM/Bicep, CloudFormation).
Proficient in Linux and Windows, AD environments, and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

Lead, manage, coach, and develop a team of cloud engineers and architects.
Own hiring, onboarding, retention, and capacity planning for the team.
Execute cloud infrastructure roadmap with cross-functional partners.
Evolve cloud services and cost optimization strategies.
Drive design, automation, observability, and incident response for cloud platforms.
Collaborate with IT Security, SRE/DevOps, and product teams on governance and security.
Mentor across the engineering org and manage budgets and vendor relationships.
