Job summary

Centene Corporation is seeking a Manager, Cloud Platform Engineering to lead a team responsible for cloud platform engineering, architecture enhancements, and operational excellence across our cloud environments.

You will shape cloud standards, drive automation and security, and partner with engineering, risk, and architecture teams to deliver resilient, high-performing cloud services in a remote US-based role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 5+ years of related cloud platform experience.
• 2+ years setting up cloud infrastructure with public cloud providers like Azure, AWS and/or Google.
• Security/governance focused experience in cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Leads a team for the cloud services unit responsible for managing the cloud platform
• Partners with cloud & enterprise architecture teams to develop cloud standards and roadmaps
• Develops technical domain expertise and drives innovation in automation and security
• Collaborates with risk and information security to ensure proper controls
• Provides platform services to enable application teams' success
• Owns reliability, availability, and performance of core cloud platform functions
• Manages department staff including hiring and performance development
